American Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified

For more than 115 years, the American Red Cross has helped people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, including disasters. Since 1954, The Humane Society of the United States has worked to protect all animals, including our closest companions, cats and dogs. Now the guiding missions of these two organizations coincide in a course designed to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to the emergency needs of their pets. This certification covers First Aid and CPR techniques emphasizing cats and dogs. These organizations know that when we help animals who are caught in a crisis, we also help the people who care about them.
