Over the years we had employed a number of house sitters/pet sitters while our family has vacationed. This is no easy task since our house has often been home to numerous pets of numerous species! Stacy has worked in this capacity for us for the past five years and we have always been extremely happy with her performance. Not only do we trust her in our home, where she demonstrates respect for our property, but our pets have become extremely attached to her, and they clearly show their affection for her. We are always impressed on our return home with how happy our pets appear. An extra bonus is that our home is always in immaculate shape. Our German Shepard, Niki, whom we have had since she was a puppy is now 11 years old. She has slowed down a bit over the years, and her hearing and vision are not as keen. However, when Niki sees Stacy, she manages a burst of energy. She immediately goes into her “pet my belly” pose with her tail happily wagging. Stacy recognizes and understands the importance of adapting her care not only to the species of animal but also to the age of the animal. Stacy has a special bond with Niki and it comforts us in knowing that she cares for Niki’s changing needs as we do.
